Frequently Asked Question

You will be able to see without glasses but it will still be hazy or misty immediately after the procedure. Vision will start to get better the following day. It will usually take 1 – 2 days for functional vision to return.
The most common side effects are dry eyes, light sensitivity, glare and halos during the first few weeks, but most of these side effects will subside over time. For dryness, it can easily be resolved by using lubricating eye drops. As for the starbursts and halos, it will resolve with time and can take between nine months to a year.
There is no pain at all during the procedure. There is a mild discomfort for the next few hours as the anesthesia fades away.
Although every patient is different, the vast majority of InterLASIK patients achieve the legal driving vision or better by the very next day. In a very small number of patient’s vision will take longer to recover, possibly up to 10 days.
